Give your friends and family a great tour of Liverpool

Term is drawing to a close for this academic year and your graduation might be on the horizon if you’re a final year student. If you need some helpful tips on where to take your friends and family as they visit Liverpool to celebrate with you this year, we have a great guide ready and waiting to help you create the perfect tour of Liverpool.

Liverpool has lots of brilliant areas with lots of attractions, meaning you don’t always have to head into the city centre for a great day out. If you have student housing in Aigburth, you could spend the day in Sefton Park (weather permitting!) and then take a stroll down to Lark Lane when the sun goes down. There’s the perfect mix of restaurants and bars that will suit both your friends and family, meaning you can celebrate in the perfect place.

If you’re living around Smithdown Road, Greenbank Park is a lovely place to while away the hours this summer and there’s lots of nice little eateries and pubs in the area to head to later in the day.

Liverpool’s city centre is bursting with great things to do, so it’s perfect if your family are in town for your graduation and are planning to stay a little while. Head down to the Albert Dock; the Tate and Maritime museums always have unique exhibitions on and are perfect if the weather is not so sunny!

Wander along the waterfront to the infamous Liverbirds and visit the recently opened Museum of Liverpool for a complete history of the city. If you want to take your friends shopping, the Metquarter, Liverpool One and Bold Street are all brilliant places to head to.

The Baltic Triangle has enjoyed a recent resurgence and is now bursting with great new venues, so make your way down here for something a little bit different.
