Pride returns to Liverpool city centre this weekend and as one of the most popular weekends in the city, you can be sure to have a fantastic time!

Now in its sixth year, the 2015 theme is ‘Love is No Crime’ and although there have been rumours of the event not taking part this year, there is a wealth of events planned for this Saturday.

After a programme of entertainment and live speakers from 10:30am, the march will leave St George’s Plateau at 12 noon. It will make its way throughout the city centre, taking in the Gay Quarter through Stanley Street for the first time.

It will then return to St George’s Hall, where a full afternoon of free events will take place. You can expect food and drink stalls, a market area, acoustic music workshops, special guest speakers and lots more.

If you want to continue the celebrations on into the night, there is a live music and entertainment fundraiser being held in Amanzi (located on Water Street) with tickets priced at £10.

On Sunday 2nd August at 5pm, the annual Michael Causer Vigil will be held at Temple Square, just off Dale Street.
