Fun in Liverpool this Weekend

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, Liverpool’s got it sorted. There are two brilliant events happening in the city centre, meaning you have a chance to explore your new surroundings, whilst having a great time too! Take a few of your newly made friends with you and get to know your fellow students along the way.

First up is the One World Festival on Bold Street. If you’ve already wandered around Liverpool city centre, you know how great Bold Street is. Full of lovely little shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, the main street is packed with great things to do. The festival takes place on Sunday 29th September and best of all, is completely FREE. The fun will kick off at 11.30am and continue until 6.30pm, meaning you can pick up some breakfast or dinner along the way.

There’s lots going on, with acts descending on Liverpool from across the world. There will be live music, dancing and street theatre and we can’t wait to get stuck in.

If you’re looking for something a little bit different, then Liverpool is definitely the city to find it in. Camp and Furnace are hosting the annual Liverpool Psych Festival this weekend and it’s well worth heading down for. Tickets are still available online here if you haven’t already got one.

There will be tons of amazing music on offer along with a vinyl record fair, micro conventions, short films and visual displays. Camp and Furnace is a great venue so this is the perfect opportunity to pop down and discover your a new favourite hangout.
