Guide to your Christmas Student night out in Liverpool

University is finally finishing for 2012 and you’ve got some time before you have to start revising for the dreaded January exams (we won’t dwell on that.) To make the most of your down time this Christmas, we’ve made sure that we know the best places to party the night away in Liverpool this December and have an amazing student night out.

The Shipping Forecast is the place to be on Saturday 22nd December with ‘Discoteca Poca’ kicking off the festive celebrations with a bang and many of your favourite bars like Maya and Santa Chupitos have lots of themed drinks and treats to tempt you to celebrate in style. Just don’t blame us if you’re struggling to eat your Christmas dinner with a hangover!

Boxing night is always a big one in Liverpool, and any students staying at home this Christmas will be spoilt for choice with what’s on offer. Circus has moved to Camp and Furnace for this one and with Loco Dice and Jamie Jones starring, this event is sure to sell out fast. Down on Greenland Street, mUmU will be carrying on the celebrations with Matthias Tanzmann and Motor City Drum Ensemble heading the line up.

The Shipping Forecast knows how to throw a party and they have Greg Wilson playing this Boxing day. Make sure you get your tickets as soon as possible, it’s always a popular destination in Liverpool. If you’ve been lucky enough to get a ticket for Cream this year, we are more than envious of what promises to be a brilliant night!
