Liverpool Food and Drink Festival This Weekend

The annual Liverpool Food and Drink Festival is taking place in Sefton Park this weekend and we’re getting ready to enjoy a lot of nice food and drinks.

The celebrations kick off later today with a pub quiz in the park and there’ll also be some live music, and of course, lots of food and drink to get trying!

The main festival takes places over Saturday and Sunday, when a whole host of restaurants, bars and food producers from around Merseyside come down and get involved.

Expect firm favourites Luche Libre, Slim’s Pork Chop Express, American Pizza Slice and lots more to look forward to.

It’s the perfect place to head if you’ve just moved to Liverpool or are returning after the summer break- you’ll have the opportunity to try all of the best restaurants and eateries in the city, without the commitment of having a main meal in just one place!

There will also be appearances from celebrity chefs such as Tom Kerridge who will be doing food demonstrations across the weekend.

If you’re travelling to Sefton Park from the city centre, you can jump of a few buses and cut across Ullet Road to reach the park. The 80, 86 or 75 will all get you close by and you won’t be able to miss the festival with the huge amount of stalls that’ll be exhibiting on the day.
