The August bank holiday is finally here and we’re delighted that this year’s Liverpool International Music Festival is set to be even bigger and better than last years!

The music will kick off in Sefton Park on Saturday from 5.30pm and you can expect to see Basement Jaxx, Artful Dodger and live music from the Juice FM DJ’s.

Things begin earlier on Sunday, with the first acts gracing the stage at 1pm and the party continuing until 9pm. We’re looking forward to seeing Labrinth, Katy B, Naughty Boy, Becky Hill and Alesha Dixon on the main stage.

On Monday, the music starts again from 1pm until 9pm and we can’t wait to catch Echo and the Bunnymen, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Laura Mvula and Esco Williams.

There are lots of stages in Sefton Park this year, including the ‘It’s Liverpool’ stage, which sets to host local talent – so we would definitely advise heading over there this weekend!

We also can’t wait for some of the events planned in the Palm House this year, which will see iconic DJ’s such as Greg Wilson and No Fakin’ getting the party off to a great start.

Enjoy!
