We welcome overseas students and other visitors to the University of Exeter throughout the year.
Our minimum stay period is usually 4 weeks but we may be able to accommodate for shorter periods if a vacancy is available.
A room in a shared house with the added benefit of a “mini kitchen” Each room has its own fridge, microwave cooker, toaster, kettle and kitchen sink giving you independence from the main kitchen for snacks and drinks. The main kitchen has two full size cookers, two fridge freezers a washing machine and tumble dryer.
All rooms have a desk and chair for studying.
There are two shared shower rooms and two shared WC’s. There is a secure bike shed.
This is a friendly, quiet and warm house, ideal for serious study. It is managed directly by the Landlord who attends to maintenance and cleaning of the communal areas on a regular basis.
It is 10 mins walk to to St Luke’s PGCE campus and about 20 minutes to Exeter University main campus. 10 minutes to the Odeon cinema, 15 mins to the town centre, 15 mins to the RDE Hospital, There are regular buses to all parts of the City and outskirts.
The rent includes all bills, heating costs and high speed fibre optic wifi. It is a No Smoking and no pets house This room is for single occupancy only The house is fully licensed by Exeter City Council as a HMO and has full fire Alarm system, Gas safety Certificate and Electrical safety certificates.
We require 4 weeks rent in advance, then a weekly payment. There is no deposit. Rooms vary between £100 and £120 per week dependant upon size and period of stay.

A Great Experience
I have rented with Rooms 4u for 3 years now and I have had a great experience. The office staff are very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The team of maintenance staff are always on hand to help and they have always fixed things the same day that the issue has been reported. The flat is furnished to a high standard and the communal areas are regularly checked and cleaned.
