Use of cookies by Rooms4U

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. The table below explains the cookies we use and why.

CloudFlare __cfduid This cookie is used to identify individual clients behind a shared IP address and apply security settings on a per-client basis. For example, if the visitor is in a coffee shop where there are a bunch of infected machines, but the specific visitor’s machine is trusted (e.g. because they’ve completed a challenge within your Challenge Passage period), the cookie allows us to identify that client and not challenge them again. It does not correspond to any user ID in your web application, and does not store any personally identifiable information.

These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our website. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the website. Conversion (Google) 1P_JAR This cookie is used to gather website statistics, and track conversion rates.
Preferences (Google) NID Most Google users will have a preferences cookie called ‘NID’ in their browsers. A browser sends this cookie with requests to Google’s sites. The NID cookie contains a unique ID Google uses to remember your preferences and other information, such as your preferred language (e.g. English), how many search results you wish to have shown per page (e.g. 10 or 20), and whether or not you wish to have Google’s SafeSearch filter turned on.

These cookies are used by Google to store user preferences and information of Google maps.
Facebook fr We use the Facebook Like button to integrate our website with our page on Facebook.com – a common feature of websites these days. In doing so this causes some cookies to be created by Facebook that detect the number of “likes” and whether you are logged into Facebook or not.
Hotjar _hjIncludedInSample This cookie is used to let Hotjar know whether that visitor is included in the sample which is used to generate funnels.
New Relic JSESSIONID This cookie is used to store a session identifier so that New Relic can monitor session counts for an application.
