No Plans this Easter Bank Holiday? We Can Help

The long awaited Easter bank holiday has finally arrived! You may have spent the last 2 weeks off university anyway, but this is the perfect way to celebrate before the Summer exams come your way.

If you’ve taken this opportunity to go home for the break, we hope you’re having a great time and being spoilt by those who have missed you whilst you’ve been away at uni this year.

However, if you’ve decided to stay in Liverpool this Easter, we can suggest some places to head this bank holiday weekend.

If this week’s anything to go by, the weather will be lovely this weekend- we’ve got our fingers crossed for sun and warmth anyway! If the sun does happen to come out (and stay out!) Sefton Park, Princes Park and Greenbank Park are all great places to head to with a couple of drinks, some food and nice friends. If you’re based in the city centre, Chavasse Park or Abercromby Square are the top spots to head for an April sunbathe.

If the weather’s not so nice, there’s still plenty to occupy yourself with. A trip to the Albert Dock is always worth it and will help blow away those first term cobwebs. With a load of nice restaurants and bars, you could head out for a walk and then pop into one of the many eateries for some dinner and drinks- you’re on holiday after all!

The Tate gallery and The Maritime museum all have great exhibitions on and are the perfect places to head if you’ve got a few hours to spare. If you have friends and family who have come to visit you over the Easter break, The Museum of Liverpool on the waterfront is a great place to take them and learn a little more about the city you’re studying in along the way.

Whatever you end up doing over the Easter weekend, we hope you’ve had a lovely few weeks off from uni!
