Firework Celebrations in Liverpool This Bonfire Night

We’re sad to say that Halloween is finished for another year, and we know that the festive period is on the way!

Luckily, we have another celebration to enjoy in the form of Bonfire Night on Thursday.

To celebrate Guy Fawkes night, there are two public fireworks displays in Liverpool- one in Newsham Park (the closest option if you’re based in the city centre) and another in Sefton Park (right next to lots of our student accommodation in Smithdown, Allerton and Wavertree).

Both displays are scheduled to start from 7.30pm and tend to last for 20 minutes each.

Following on from the success last year, Sefton Park are again playing host to a range of independent stalls in its famous Palm House. Expect lots of hand crafted goodies, traditional gluhwein and some tasty food on offer.

Both displays attract huge crowds so we’d advise getting there early to avoid the crowds.

Lark lane is also just a 5 minute walk from Sefton Park so if you fancy carrying on the celebrations, there are lots of bars and restaurants open until late.

Enjoy!
