If you’re still in your student accommodation this June, this weekend is the perfect way to end the summer term with a bang. Africa Oyé is always a favourite in Liverpool and it’s being held this Saturday and Sunday in Sefton Park. Running from 12.30-9.30pm on both days, you’ll be guaranteed to have a brilliant time with lots of great music, arts, crafts, food and drink on offer.
The festival is the UK’s largest celebration of African music and culture and best of all, it’s completely free! It really is the perfect way to round off the university term, celebrate your upcoming graduation, or just start the summer in style. Head to the official website for more info on what you can look forward to and brilliant information if you’re travelling back to Liverpool to enjoy the festivities.
Get ready to embrace the African spirit and bring your dancing shoes, fingers crossed for good weather too!
