Make the Most of Black Friday This Year

Black Friday savings are already starting to pop up just about anywhere you look and with the big day arriving in less than 24 hours, we can see that some people have got slightly carried away with the whole idea of bargain hunting.

Although seeing scenes of people shoving past others to get their hands on a brand new TV last year made us slightly worried for the human race, we do understand that on a student budget and as its so close to Christmas, it’s important to save the pennies when you can. So we’ve put together some of the best bargains to be had this weekend…

Clothes/Beauty

-Topshop are running up to 50% on selected lines, with savings going live this morning!

-Zara has promised special discounts going live tomorrow morning, so stay tuned on their Twitter/Facebook page for updates.

-Miss Selfridge has up to 50% off everything! and with your student discount on top, this is the place to get your Christmas outfits!

-ASOS is offering 20% off everything this weekend and with lots of great brands in stock, this is the perfect place to do your Christmas shopping.

-Liverpool based make-up experts, Peaches and Cream promoted ‘Pink Friday’ so head to their site tomorrow morning with fingers crossed.

-Boots have tons of great deals on fragrances and other selected items already online.

-The White Company has 20% off its full range tomorrow, the perfect present for your mum!

Electricals/Uni Supplies

-If your laptop or printer is on it’s last legs, head to PC World or Curry’s to find discounts on big names.

-John Lewis are price matching Black Friday deals from other retailers, so if you’ve been unlucky in another store – try here!

-Amazon have been running fantastic deals all week and they’re set to continue across the weekend. If you have access to text books/course material for next semester, get yours in while they’re slightly cheaper.

Before you head out with your bank card in hand, remember to only buy something if you need it (rather than being swayed by the price) and don’t spend all of your remaining student loan at once!
