When the time comes for a hangover-curing full English or some quick lunch time scran head to Adam’s café, Suepees, or Babylon, or dip into Oomoo for a coffee. Head down to Wokit noodle bar for something ‘fresh fast and nutritious’, or sample the menu at the new Thai Street Café. Looking for something a little less Converse and a little more smart shoes? Jalons bar have great offers early week or the Tavern Co. do brilliant Mexican meals (plus a city famous breakfast menu at the weekend) or if you feel like something spicy try the Royal Tandoori for eat in or take-out. Smithdown Road has many popular pubs including Kelly’s Dispensary, The Willowbank and student’s favourite The Brookhouse, and if you’re still raring to go after last orders simply jump on the next bus into town and in 10 minutes you’ll find yourself once again in the thick of things ready to carry on into the early hours.
Smithdown Road is also in close proximity to Sefton Park, or the smaller Wavertree or Greenbank parks and is only a short walk to the local Lifestyles swimming pool and gym.
